Celebrity trash selling briskly

On March 12, 2004, a piece of French toast half-eaten by pop star Justin Timberlake was sold on ebay for $3,154 by Radio Station Z100. On June 19, Improv Everywhere decided to get a piece of that action.

Yes, on a glorious, windy summer day in New York City, Improv Everywhere agents, myself included, sold bogus celebrity trash to tourists in Times Square. One piece of trash was sold, one was donated by a real celebrity, one by a fake celebrity, and fun was had by all but one. As Charlie said on Saturday after we got hassled, ‘there’s always one guy with a stick up his butt.’ You can read about IE’s Celebrity Trash mission here.
