Do; go

Share was cool last night. I left Beth to her C homework in Astoria (pang) and showed up there around 7 pm. It was very quiet at first, then things picked up like mad (~9 pm) when the featured set started. Koutaro and Uhito played explosive, glitchy IDM; when I spoke with them later, they gave me a CD sampler from their mp3 label, on;(do). I spiffed up my “rainbow eyes” patch, did a brief collaborative session with Eric, and spoke to a reporter who’s writing an article about Share (or maybe about Openair, I’m not sure). I told her how I’ve found that all my stage improv learnin’ completely applies to video/audio improvisation; turns out she takes classes at UCB. I got my “glass bells” patch just where I’d imagined it when I first got the idea and it looked great — then Keyworx crashed and I was completely stumped how to get it back to where it was. Rrrr.

The walk home was cold and lonely; autumn winds came in with a vengeance and it seems a lot of people skipped town to see the leaves fall. Today I began applying the GTD workflow: so far, so good. I felt much more at ease to eat lunch after I’d collected all my “stuff” in my Inbox; later, I found myself in the zone with my Next Actions list. Now I’m going home to apply it to my privates…er, private life, I mean.
