Many calls later…
“It’s like talking to a Speak ‘n’ Spell that’s on drugs,” she says.
Beth is on the phone with AT & T “customer service”.
“No, you just called the number that I gave you of the cellphone that does work. My cell phone doesn’t work. I’m on another cellphone to talk to you. No, this line is fine — don’t call me on that line.”
Our rinky-dink Sony Ericsson T616s have a major design flaw: the power button is difficult to trigger. On Beth’s phone, the button’s broken. It’s obvious, as the button sits below the surface of the phone now, all loosey goosey.
“Is there someone else I can talk to? Because I feel like we’re not communicating very effectively.” There’s my girl being supersweet to a moron.

Beth’s site is down. First she had billing pains with thestudyofdesign.com and now the server bethcherry.com is on is all effed up. Please be patient as our massive, supposedly reliable, (and dirt cheap) host gets its act together.

Dan- Where is beth’s blog? I don’t mean to use your forum to ask, but, having read it each day for two years or so, I can’t find it today, and find myself jonesing like the addict I am. Any light you can shed, I would appreciate.
