I got a bit of a jolt seeing an old friend’s name on Metafilter today, just days after I got an email out of the blue from another old friend from college, her then boyfriend. I haven’t spoken with either of them since college so I don’t know whether they’re still together. They were a very sweet couple all through school so I hope so. Both of their names are in my Google trap — it works!
