What some have called a piece of ‘attack journalism’ on Saturday Night Live — and which certainly evinces strong personal taste against SNL — lit a fire under Matt Besser to speak out against the article, Saturday Night Rewritten, and Erik Marcisak personally. Unfortunately, lost in the flames and bile is a compelling discussion about the (social) definition of originality and creativity.
