The first epicycle in my theatrical career
On Thursday, I’m playing in Character Dog Run, an improv show at Juvie Hall. It’s a character show and this is the celebrity version. I’ll be recapitulating my debut role in The Hobbit in 6th grade: I’d like to keep it a surprise so I’ll just say that he’s a fishaterian with a bad upper respiratory infection and a thing for rings. I’ll be sharing the stage with a bunch of great improvisers, including my friend Alana Harrison, who I worked with in college. She’s great; this is going to be fun.
On Sunday I’ll be singing with the Renaissance Street Singers as usual. We sing a couple times a month and the info is always on the RSS site.
