BS and me
I’ve been spring cleaning like a madman today. It feels sooo gooood. If you’ve been to my place, you know that I’ve got a couple bookcases in the hallway that make getting into my room a squeeze (jure de facto: no fatties). No longer. I’m giving away a ton of books and the bookcases are empty. They’re going bye bye. Hosanna in excelsis.
Channel 13 (PBS) is doing a pledge drive today. It’s annoying, but not a quarter as annoying as regular network TV is. They’re showing a Bruce Springstreen and the E Street Band concert from London, 1975. I used to think Springsteen was kinda loud and boring — I didn’t get it. This shit was hot. That band was tight! I have enormous respect for any performer who brings it to every moment and BS and the ESB played their guts out, tight as a pyramid.
Also, BS wears a big fuzzy wool hat. That hat and that scruffy beard on that scruffy face — he looks just like Rich.

For those not in the know, Rich Panciera is a co-founder of SHARE. We hadn’t talked much until this Sunday, when we both happened to stay ’til the end. Cool guy! Very funny.
