So. Busy.
However, a lot of it’s fun. For instance, to quote my own mailing list message:
>Tonight, Gunshow takes the stage at Manhattan Comedy Collective to do some improv comedy. We’ve been shaking up our habits and styles with new coaches in the past few months so it’s not the same old filthy storytelling. Gunshow 3.0! Heh. Tonight at 7:40 pm in the East Village and cheap. This is the first of four shows every Thursday this month.
>This Saturday, I’m doing visuals at the Bushwick Art Project fundraiser out in Bushwick. Many and varied musicians and visualists, hot underground art party. Oh yes. Check it out before it gets commodified (whoops, too late).
>Sunday, come propitiate my continued existence with me at SHARE. It’s a double birthday — turns out Katherine Liberovskaya is an April niner too. Yay, cake! I will be 27 years old.
>And before that, I’m singing with the Renaissance Street Singers in our first outdoor concert this Spring! We’ll be on Christopher St somewhere so do walk by and listen if you’re out enjoying the weather. Check the site for exact location.
The Gunshow went well. Small crowd, which got us to thinking we should use these shows as a chance to experiment a lot. Not that we’d mind more of an audience, of course…
