Bang
I saw much of the Bang on a Can festival today. ‘Twas brillig. More on that tomorrow. An idea before I sleep: dance/visuals show; two dancers connected by rope lights, tying and wrapping them around each other like cat’s cradle; shot with a live camera; manipulated by a visualist.

hey, that reminds me of a thing that Maja Cerar did in which she wore a rope light and played violin and they did live visuals for Brun’s Mutatis Mutandis… http://music.columbia.edu/~liubo/macelibo/mm/index.html

Cool! I’m imagining something less abstract and procedural, i.e., not keying out everything but the light so that you can see the dancers’ bodies in detail.
