Genua death salami, Nigerian computers for good, and abstrakt v1su4lz
It’s probably safe to say that Kurt Vonnegut was Chris’s favorite writer. He wrote a post in memoriam that highlights one of my favorite Vonnegut moments. I can’t recall with certainty but it was probably Chris who turned me on to his works. I read every Vonnegut book the William & Mary library had until I reached Wampeters, Foma, & Granfalloons, which was too depressing for my state of mind then so I put it down halfway through.
This photo makes me happy, though.

It’s from a News.com.com.com.com story about the One Laptop Per Child program‘s first test deployment of XO laptops. Nigerian computing for teh good!
Incidentally, the Sophie developers are porting Sophie to the XO system. The port is still in its early stages but it sounds like things are going pretty well.
And now, teh s3xx0r v1su4lz: look at the pretty pretty.
