Er, did I forgot to mention that I had a gig last night? Yes. Yes, I did. Last night I did visuals with Tris McCall, who opened for Overlord and Charles Bissell of the Wrens at Monkeytown. Tris sings sad, funny songs about New Jersey. It was fun. Here are some photos that Emily took. (This is the same Emily who saved my ass by bringing my laptop to the show, which I had FORGOTTEN at home.)

Click the picture to see all the photos. I made my performance patch in Max/MSP/Jitter and v001, using xray.jit.water, a water simulator. The notes Tris played (sent to me via MIDI) dropped shapes in the “water”, which rippled most pleasingly. I also drew shapes with a Wacom tablet and added shader-based effects. I’ll post the water part of the patch on the Jitter list soon, so check it out there if you’re interested.
